The Archive
The Johnny Moncada Archive is a private operating archive. Its creation began in 2006 with the contribution of Johnny Moncada, who was preparing with his daughter the exhibition at the Valentina Moncada Gallery.
The Archive contains more than 100,000 negatives, photographs and documents. Contact us for more information.
The founding of the Archive was made possible with the support of The Nando Peretti Foundation.
The Mission
The staff at the Archive encourages the study and appreciation of Moncada's photography through publications, touring exhibitions, and outreach to the academic community. To further its mission, the Archive distributes original prints and archival material to museums, libraries, scholarly institutions, photography collections and collectors.
